Hen or rooster Barred Plymouth Rock?

Need some help - can anyone tell if both the Barred Plymouth Rock in this picture are hens or is the one in the back with the larger comb a rooster? They're about 6 or 7 weeks old in this picture. TIA

I think the one closest is a pullet but the other one might be a cockerel.

I would guess the one in the background is a boy and the one closest is a girl.

That's what I'm thinking, too. Didn't do very well at buying chicks - looks like I ended up with 2 roosters out of 9 "pullets"

if it is a rooster he hasn't crowed yet. My EE rooster (same age) has been crowing for over a week & those 2 fight all the time. Well not serious fighting but challenging each other, neck feathers all fluffed up, jumping up & squawking. Funny to watch but I sure hate to get rid of 2 of my chickens - we can't have roosters here.
