Hens or Roos on the Silver Laced Wyndottes ? They are 7 month old and no spurs at all but the one closest to me in the picture acts like a roo. It will come after me when I go into the pen and peck at my feet but that's about it. The RIR is a roo on in the middle but the other two not so sure of.

The females have lacing throughout their whole bodies so they are males.

The top photos are all males. It is usually difficult to determine gender by spurs at that age, you are better of looking at comb, color, body type, and pointy saddle and hackle feathers.

The Silkie is a little hard to tell. It looks like a poor quality hatchery female, but I can't tell if those are streamers on it's head (streamers are long pointed feathers that stick out and slant backwards down the back of the neck). Only male Silkies have streamers.

can we see a pic of the comb? that would help.maybe a better side view shot? this is a tough call, the crest looks a bit like a male to me in the pic it looks like streamers comming through but silkies can be suprising! usually the females will have a larger rounder crest depending on the quality of the bird
id wait a little longer on this one could go either way. not certain about being a roo.. give it more time and see what develops. if the crest tends to sweep back its a male really hard to tell from one pic.

Both have saddle feathers = both males.
