Hen or Rooster

    This is my first time raising chickens and have 6 of them, 2 of which are BR. One of them looks like a roo, but hasn't crowed yet. I'm not sure on the age, nor do the people I got it from, but I assume it's old enough to start trying to crow, but haven't heard a slight peep from it. Could it possibly be a hen?

    Agreed. Classic male BR coloring, plus pointy iridescent saddle feathers. My favorite of all time.
