which is it Hen or Rosster...? my 13 weeks old wyandott with a single comb..?
Despite the redness, those wattles look pretty tiny and I'm not really seeing many hackle feathers so I'd say hen. Gorgeous feather pattern btw
77 horses, thank you so much for your kind reply, excellent ...!!! thank you sooo much ,we were hoping we had a 6th hen, but we have another that is a bit confusing...to that one has long legs a red comb & wattles so i have been watching that one, it would be nice to have one wyandott roo.....lol... today i am trying to get a good pic of that one, take care Dianna
side view ,
this is the other one ,a possible rooster...?
hi again, & thank you for all your help, we have another one that might be a rooster...? a 13 week old wyandott , this pic is that bird , it is the one next to the wall,
and next pic below is that same bird in question ... sooo what do you think a roo or hen...? kind regards Dianna
I'll venture to say....PULLET
I agree, it's a tad suspicious, but I am leaning towards pullet.
I'm thinking the one close to the wall is a cockerel!
yes i feel its a cockerel to, because the comb & wattles are dark red, much more red & bigger then the other wyandotts, and this bird is bigger then the others &
I started calling it fat boy....lol.... but here is a pic of the other hens , and then a pic of fat boy, and since we got the wyandotts we love this breed..! and would love to have a wyandott roo,
....!!! lol... so do you still think its a cockerel ......????????????? thanks for your help...! have a great day & take care
