    new to turkeys i never seen one up close not since i was a lil girl we went to a chicken sale and person had pulled up and uncovered this lil cutie i snatched him up in a heartbeat tho the person never said if it was tom or hen age or breed so im in the dark on this guy/girl lol want to start raising turkeys along with my chickens but need to know what the sex and breed on this guy to get me started

    Maybe I have it backwards but I thought the white tips on the belly/chest feathers indicated a hen.

    me and my husband r fighting over if its a hen or tom lol i never seen him/her display and i have a week old turkey that i named butterball and he display like a normal tom he puts he wings to his side and walks to me so cute but this big turk just normal so idk lol so confusing

    My tom had white tipped feathers when he was younger. He may not display since you have another tom displaying. I know my youngest tom won't because the bigger tom doesn't like it when he does.

    Looks like a tom to me ? To much Wattle for a hen I would think ?

    i dont have any other turkeys with him the baby that is displaying is on the other side of the house in a chick brooder so really dont think thats why he's not displaying
