Im lookin waaaay into the future and I was wondering...here's the scenario lets say one of my hens has a clutch of eggs and goes broody yadda yadda should I move her into her own separate little coop? is there a danger for her and the eggs/eventual chicks being with the flock? what is standard procedure here? and if I should indeed separate them how and when do I integrate them back in? if a hen and her eggs should be segregated I was thinking on a small hoop coop with a tote that has a door cut out as the nesting box that way when it comes time to integrate them back in I can move said tote to our original coop with the rest of the girls that way mama and babies have a place to go?
