My hen has been sitting in nest with eggs. She has now moved to a different nest with eggs also. Has not moved.
She has been letting me pick her up until yesterday she kinda ruffled at me. Is this normal ? I do have a rooster. But
she will not get out of coupe. What do I need to do? Been going on for almost 3 weeks. Im new at this . I love my chickens
I just hope she's not hurt. Help

Welcome to BYC! @DuckyShannon

These are my go-to signs of a broody.
Is she on nest most the day and all night?
When you pull her out of nest and put her on the ground, does she flatten right back out into a fluffy screeching pancake?
Does she walk around making a low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluck(ticking bomb) sound on her way back to the nest?
If so, then she is probably broody and you'll have to decide how to manage it.

If you have a male and she's been setting for 3 weeks.....have you candled the egg so to see is they are developing?
