Hen stopped laying - weird black rot on toes

Hey folks,

Looking for some help. I've got a bird who stopped laying, and she's favoring a foot that has some black rot at the end of one the toes. It almost looks like some of the toe has rotted, as if from frostbite. Any ideas about what I should do?

I'm not an expert, but the black toes sound like what some people call "bumble foot", which could be a staph infection. See what you should do for "bumble foot" and try that. Also, check back for more replies from more knowledgeable people than me...
