Help Please:
I rescued a hen turkey and tom turkey on Sunday. I turkeys are new for me. The hen is a Broad Breasted White Turkey and the tom is a Heritage Bronze.
The Tom turkey is very large. He has broken the skin on both sides of the Hen and long her back. I have them separated. I cleaned open wounds with warm water and but some Nolvasan antiseptic ointment on the wounds. I did not cover them up. Should I have covered them up? Do turkeys heal fast. Any have an opinion on the Veterycin spray?

I would apply an antibiotic ointment. It will take a while to heal, and she should be kept separate from the tom. Make sure that the wounds do not get fly struck - not likely this time of year, but keep an eye on them.
