Hen was attacked

I came home today to find my rooster missing (still don't know if he was taken or if he's hiding though he never leave a the girls ) and one of my 3 hens missing all of her tail feathers (found them in a massive pile )with her vent swollen and bloody. No other injuries that I can tell. I soaked her in warm water, cleaned her backside with diluted Hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the blood, and colloidal silver and put antibiotic cream on it. She is in a laundry basket snuggled in a towel as of now. She s eating and drinking.

What the heck attacks a chickens behind ? I know to keep her away from the other two hens until she is healed but anything else I need to do??

She was probably the first one to get grabbed from behind and the rooster took on what ever the predator was and he got grabbed saving the rest of the hens. That’s his job unfortunately for him.
