Hi everyone. I had an issue with chicken lice. Everyone has been treated and the lice are gone, but my 8 month old barnevelder hen can’t right herself now. Anytime she stands she ends up falling over. I gave her a bath 4 days ago and she’s all clean, but her balance doesn’t seem to be improving. She also seems to shake her head and itch at the side of her head, but no lice are there. Is one in her ear?
She has been laying down to eat, and I’ve been mixing her food with water and nutridrench.
Her poop is normal and her comb is turning red again. She’s looking more healthy but her balance is still very off.
Is there anything else I can do? I’m don’t want to cull, but I don’t want her to suffer
Thank you!

What did you use for treatment?
Was she walking around and active before treatment or was she struggling?

Look inside her ear to see if there's infection/debris.

Photos of your pullet, her poop, her ear, etc. are most welcome. If you can get a video of her movements those may be helpful too - upload video to youtube and provide a link.
