Henry is a Daddy!! See our mixed breeds

    Henry is our white leghorn roo and I have 8 standard cochin hens and 2 jersery giants. My neighbor took 3 eggs and put them under his broody hen who has no rooster around her. Here are the results.

    2 cochin whites and 1 jersey giant mix. And of course they are precious.
    When we gave Henry the news, he was VERY proud!! [​IMG]
    I just thought someone might like to see what these cross breeds looked like. They are a day old here.

    Very cute chicks, and Henry is quite a looker too.

    We used to have a Henry rooster, but he was an EE.

    Thank you. Henry is a great roo. Loves his girls and is very good with them but he and my husband do NOT get along at all. But it seems to be a game with both of them.
    Henry is in his "pretty stage" right now. 2 months ago he looked awful!! LOL!
