Hello! I have a problem with my Buff Orpington hens. I started out with three of them and a now down to only one. The bottom picture is from only a few days ago, when the animals were playing in the backyard. We lost our first hen in October, and she just fell over one day and didn't stand back up. We took her inside and I felt that she was skinnier than the others. We separated her and tried to fatten her up but she passed away the next day. Two days ago, one of our other hens was acting lethargic and not eating so I isolated her and tried to figure out what was wrong. She wasn't skinny and from what I determined it was not: Egg Binding Parasites Sour Crop Mareks Help??? I really don't want to lose our last hen :,( Oh, and they eat natural chicken feed, tons of fruits and vegetables and sometimes rice, mealworms for a treat. Their coop is cleaned regularly as well as dusted for mite prevention.
