I have 2 blue Araucanas, born in March, that have never laid. The other 4 chickens have been laying regularly since their 20th week. What gives?

I have 2 young blue Araucanas (born in March) that have never laid. The 2 Orpingtons and Australorps born at the same time have been laying consistently since their 20th week. I thought Araucanas were supposed to be good layers. What gives?

Do you have pics of them so we can confirm they are hens? Sometimes Araucanas don't start laying until they're almost a year old. They're not a production breed.
Here are 2 pics. I think they're hens, though they're not tailless.

Yeah those look like Blue Ameraucanas, not Araucanas.
They are indeed both hens. It looks like they're getting close to laying too, just be patient! Breeds like that take much longer than production breeds to start laying.

How can you tell they're close to laying? (They do go up in the coop and watch when the other girls are in the nest boxes.)

Six hens and six nest boxes, but only two are ever used.

None of my girls ever squat at my approach. They usually run to see if I have anything for them in my hands. Some will allow me to pet their backs.
