Hens eggs haven't hatched day 26, can I candle?

Day 14 I candled and there was def something growing in 2 out of 4 eggs. My rooster just died and we are heartbroken, this was our chance of his offspring. I guess there is no chance at day 26? Should I candle them to make sure? Broody is a young silkie (10 months) so I was hoping it was just taking a little longer because of her age. Thank you for advice

Always candle when in doubt.

Candle them and check for movement I had a chicken pip on day 26 before

Egg 1 & 2 didn’t notice any movement or beak in sac, any thoughts?

I don’t know usually the broody mother will leave the eggs if they are all bad

I just tried the float test, no signs of life, that's a bummer. They must have just died because they are floating at the right height but NO movement at all. I had some day old delivered last weekend I was gonna stick under her when her 2 hatched, now they have been living in my basement a week but I guess I'll still try to put them under her tonight. Hopefully they are not to old, wish me luck!
