Hen's feathers won't grow back

Two of my Cochin hens molted early this spring and lost all the feathers on their rear ends. And now it's been more than two months and they still haven't grown back. Is that normal? Their backsides were both very bloody and scabbed at first like they'd been pecked at a lot. but that all healed up in a few weeks. Now they are just bald. Both of their feathers are growing back, but very slowly. Will they ever get back to normal? I have a show coming up in August that I was going to take them to. Does anyone have any experience with this or know if they should be fine by then? is there anything I can do to help them?

I'm having the same problem with my easter egger/buff orpington mix! I've been doing research and I've found that it could be mites/lice? I personally have checked for that and see none but I'm going to treat for it just to make sure that's not the problem.
