What feed are you giving them? Insufficent protein can lead to a prolonged molt. Some birds do seem like they are always molting. One of my cocks this year started molting in June and has only now finished. He molted slowly, but not a lot of feathers at a time (wing feathers in June, tail feathers in August, etc).
im just feeding them normal layers pellets and corn with treats. they first of all went broody at the same time then straight after the chicks hatched they started a molt just like your roo!
