Hi! I am hoping someone might be able to help me figure out what is going on with my little hen. She is about 4 or 5 months old and free ranges. The other day when putting her back in after free ranging I noticed she was having problems walking on one of her legs. I have examined it and it does not seem to have a sore or bumble foot. I also can't feel anything noticibly wrong with it other than she is not able to walk right on it. She sometimes does with a slight limp but sometimes it seems completely limp. She doesn't seem to be lethargic or anything else wrong with but then today I noticed that she had a semi runny looking light brown stool. I did let her try zucchini for the first time so I don't know if it's contributing to the new stool, but I thought I would ask. If anyone has any idea please let me know. She was vaccinated for Mareks as a chick. Thank you in advance!

It could still be Marek's even with vaccination. Try giving her some high potency poultry vitamins. I like Rooster Booster B & K. You can get it at TSC or most feed stores. Look at the "St John's Wart" thread (if you can stand to read through all that) for some other ideas. If she were mine I'd try the Hypericum Perforatum. Won't hurt, might help. It has helped some of mine.
