My young Australorp hen was walking fine Sunday but Monday evening she was laying on coop floor and legs are now not moving. Anything I can do for her?

Have you checked inside her vent for a stuck egg? How old is she? Will she move her toes if you stroke her foot? Do you know if she was vaccinated for Mareks disease? Is she eating and drinking? She should be placed close to her food and water.

Did you save her body so that it could be sent off to your state vet for a necropsy? It should be refrigerated, but not frozen. Was it just her legs that didn't work? Did she ever have limp wings or a drooping neck? Botulism a toxin from eating dead animal remains could cause that. Mareks disease could cause paralysis in one or more legs. It would be helpful to figure out what the cause of death was? Here is some info on how to send a bird to a poultry lab, along with contact info: http://www.metzerfarms.com/PoultryLabs.cfm
