Two of my hens started their first molt about a month ago. Every other hen has grown back their feathers, but 2 of my hens lost many feathers and I’m afraid they’ll be getting too cold since the temperature is 30 degrees and dropping. Is there any thing I should be concerned about?

Do you have any roosters? The first bird looks like she has feather damage from a rooster mounting or other chickens pulling. As long as their living quarters are clean, dry, and properly ventilated they'll be able to keep warm enough.

Yes, we have two roosters (they both get along) but she has also lost feathers along her belly and tail. Not too bad that I can see skin, but she is a lot smaller than she used to look.
