I am so obsessed with these orange and gray EEs (I have one). Which hatchery did you get them from (if you know)? I've never seen this combo before, but they're popping up all over the breed forum (though this might be that thing where once you're looking for a particular car or whatever, and suddenly you see it everywhere).

I got mine from Cackle (via feed store), and she's supposed to be a Welsummer/Cream Legbar mix. I see the Welsummer in the neck, but, like yours, mine has the black head and no crest.

Mine is starting to get the orangey-gold in the head, too. They're very striking birds.

I think they are just beautiful too and was a main charge forward this year to start our first flock.

I've no idea which hatchery they are from our local farm store orders in 500 to 1k per week in spring ofb over 50 breeds and order from 10 +different hatcheries. I will call tomorrow and ask the owner if he has any idea given the 4.11 hatch date these EEs had . .
