Hens or Roo's??? HELP PLEASE!

    I'm new to having chicks... I only have these 2 Barred Rocks right now... one seems to crow in the AM only... they're about 13-14 weeks old right now... They do fight often with each other... I'm thinking they are both Roo's.. if so they will have to head to the farm this weekend... [​IMG]

    Both boys for sure... dead give away in the face with those combs and waddles at that age. If a hen looked like that she would have above average comb and be like a year old or more and laying eggs.

    One of my BR pullets....at 19 weeks...yours are boys...
    Notice her comb and wattle, just getting red, she is reaching POL...(YEAH!)

    I agree, roosters. And just for education, the black and white bird is a barred rock. Barred referrs to that color, with the bars of black and white. Your white bird may be a white rock, or a something else, can't really tell from the pic, but that's a good guess.
