    Hi,

I hatched these three chicks 7 weeks ago. Can anyone tell if these are hens or roos? The mom is a Red Sex Link and the dad is a Golden Laced Polish. Thanks!

#1 sure does have a whole lot of comb for a 7 week old chick. That is definitely a boy.

Just by looking at the comb-#1 is a rooster and #2 and 3 are pullets.

I thought the same thing! My gut feeling has been that he is a boy.

7 weeks is fairly early to be sure, but #2 and 3 look like pullets for now. That may change in another few weeks, though.

I thought it might be too early to tell for sure. I will post new pics when they get a little older.

Roo or hen? It's a Blue Americauna. Has not crowed at all, but it's bigger then my other hens.
