Hens stopped laying!

My 6 hens were laying egg just great and about a month ago they just stopped. Feathers all over the place. They all seem happy and healthy, but no eggs. Will they start laying again?

It sounds like they are molting. My birds typically do this two times a year...once in the fall and once in the spring. They should start laying soon, but give it a few weeks. Also, this wacky weather sometimes throws them off as well. Mine haven't laid since this winter!

Have 17 laying hens. Somedays will get 5-6 eggs, the next day get 10-15 eggs. Have noticed they lay more if we have 2-3 warm sunny days. They have laid thru out most of the winter.
