Here are my Cornish Rock chicks

    [​IMG]I've heard the horror stories but I've just fallen in love with these two chicks (pullets I think). I plan to raise them on a limited feed and free range foraging to enjoy as pets (and I hope) to lay a few eggs too. Aren't they adorable? (The third chick is my Easter Egger) [​IMG]

    I wish you luck! They are sweet birds. I've never tried to take one past 8 weeks, but I've heard of others who have.

    My neighbor has a 3 year old Cornish X hen who still lays 1-3 large eggs weekly. She's a very fat, funny, friendly hen
