The first one is a 60 gallon livestock tub and only about 18 inches high.

The second one is the stage 2 brooder for when they start flying out of the little one. This one is 110 gallon tub and about 2.5 feet high.

    Thanks everyone!

Irajoe - the chicks are projects I am working on. They are lavender orps in progress and the 2 black chicks in that brooder are tufted tailed araucana that carry the lavender gene.

I'm sorry Ellen. [IMG] I wish everyone could have chicks like we do. Of course, I don't wish all the work on anyone...just the fun stuff. [IMG] I hope you're at least enjoying my peeps until you have some of your own.

I was hoping the brooder set ups would be helpful to others to see the different sizes we use as the chicks keep outgrowing their space.
