I adopted this male from a rescue. One on his legs has an old fracture and he cannot use it but he has a new home and a new girlfriend. They both seem very happy now.

Quote:What do you mean? I can only speak for me and I "inherited" the female. Since she was alone and the opportunity to adopt the male came along I adopted him. I have them for pets. I'm sure other people raise them for hunting and food.

I wasn't sure if they are raised for food, hunting, or ornamental reasons-like bantam chickens or peacocks.
