I took them outside again for a romp in the garden bed. I don't think I'll be able to do this next week, they'll be too big and flying - I'm afraid I'll lose one or two or ten!

Here's one of the Ameraucanas, they have the most wingfeathers so far!:

    Next is a RIR:

Two of the buff orps, one with the poor picked-out tailfeathers:

The Barred Rocks are never still! It's tough to get a pick without blurring, this is the best one today:

This last one is too cute, she's vamping for the camera! Golden Laced Wyandotte:

I've got three different colors on the Ameraucanas, so yes, they do seem to vary quite a bit. But the green legs give them away! [IMG]

They're beautiful!!! By the way, you can keep taking them out. They won't fly away. Granted, as they get older it's a little tougher rounding them all up, but they'll stick together and amazingly they don't wander far at all! i have a picnic basket that I use to transport mine out for 'outings', then i scoop them all up and bring them back in. I am using a big laundry basket - it's messy, but it works. I'll give it a try again next Wednesday. The lighting is so much better outside for pictures.
