Well, I think things went pretty darn good. We process 10 birds total yesterday. Packed them off in ice last night, and I cut them up this morning.
My father agreed to help.
Im glad he did. It would have been tough with just one person. Theres going to be some seriously good eaten this winter! I tried as best I could to preserve every part. I even froze up the butchered carcasses to make stock later. Theyre in the freezer as I type(thats just 10 of the 30 chickens we have!!! The freezer was bought just for the birds!)
I couldnt stand it! So I fired up the old grill and barbequed some legs and a one breast just to see how it was.
