Heritage Turkey growth question?

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew what is the average time it takes for a heritage turkey (bourbon reds specifically) to reach 16 pounds?. Or if anyone can estimate how heavy a bourbon red can get by August 7th assuming I get the baby turkeys at the end of February?

Hello Birdmaster8, with only about five months of growing according to you dates, you might get 15-16 lb. birds depending on sex of bird and quality of feed. Mine were born February last year and weigh well over 20lbs.

Now Im not saying you're going to butcher but, there is a you might check out titled- What age to butcher turkeys.
