hermaphrodytes!

    Recently culled some young roos and two of them turned out to be hermaphrodytes! With both ovarys and testes, is this totally unusual or what?

    I've read where chickens are in fact born with both sets, and lose one set as they age. That is interesting that one would be old enough to cull and still have all it's equipment!
