I have some pics of my ducks. Can you tell me if they are boys or girls? The white is a Pekin (snowflake) and the tan is a runner (Quackers)

    Thanks for the help y'all.

In the pics they are about 6 weeks. They are now closer to 9 weeks.

By the way they are looking I would think white is boy, other one is birl BUT at that age, unless you vent sex them it's really impossible to tell. Are they quaking yet or still cheeping like babies? If there is a girl it will QUACK loud, if a boy it will sound real raspy...

They both quack loudly but only when they are seperated from each other. Once they are returned to each other they are quiet and very timid.

If they quack loudly I'd say they are both girls.

ok - I have either two girls or one boy or one girl. Does anyone know when I will know for sure? When will they start laying eggs? Is that really the only way to tell?

Once they feather out the drake with get a single curly feather at the base of his back right on top of his tail. Other than that you can tell boy from girl by the quack once they get their "duck" voices and are no longer cheeping. You can also vent sex them but you would do better Googling how to vent sex than me trying to explain it... [IMG]

Other than that - wait for eggs. [IMG]
