Hey.. any suggestions on this being a roo or hen??? bout 6 months

    HI everyone.. still not sure what I am looking at.. none are crowing so I have not a clue.. HAHA do ya think its a roo or hen???

    pretty sure he is a roo, he was trying to crow I think or maybe just clearing his throat.. HEHE

    they all look like roos to me but one of our hens has the same comb but she is laying (I like it when they give me clues )

    Arent pictures 1 and 3 the same and 2 and 4 the same pictures?

    Are these all of 1 chicken? Nevermind, I think you fixed it....I say roo....but I am far from an expert.

    Just realized that.. LOL gott her fixed.. which ones do you think is the males or females, they are all related but we actually have 7 of them the same color.. just some are a bit smaller or larger than the others [​IMG]

    I was thinking 2 and 4 were hens but it looked like 4 was trying to crow today??

    I definatly say the first one and the third one is a rooster but I'm not sure about the second one, I'd say rooster.

    I say 1 and 3 are roos. THe other two pullets.

    Nope I take it back......................I'd say the second and fourth one is a hen.

    1 and 3 have a darker red comb than 2 and 4 I read somewhere that a really red comb was a roo??

    I was thinking the same but I am still to new to this to be a good guesser.. Is it the comb or the body mass of them that makes you think this (still trying to learn) to me they just look "feminine" LOL
