Hey Delaware experts...is this a Roo?

I got this Delaware chick at 3 weeks, a very difficult time to sex. (S)he got her comb very early but her tail hasn't grown very long and her legs are quite thick. Hatching date was December 19; the pictures were taken last week, so this is at 9 weeks. The Australorp in the background is 4 days older. I think I may have a roo

I second that, it's a boy. The comb and the markings look boy-ish.

I vote Roo also. I had one that had the same markings down his back. SpeckledHen called it "smut" running from the hackles down the back. I have two other delawares, their backs are pure white.....

Thanks all! It's unanimous, so unfortunately this Delaware has to go. I will try to find him a good home that won't eat him. Nothing against eating a humanely raised animal, just don't want it to be one I know personally.
