(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We have had chickens for about 8 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We are down to 8. I am ordering more today. I know this isn't the best time of year, but we have lost some birds and I was sick this spring and couldn't add to our flock. So we will order now!
(3) What breeds do you have?
One Americauna, black sex linked and Plymouth Rocks
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Playing with our grandchildren! Our last child just graduated from homeschool and is at college. It's time for me to rediscover hobbies for me!!!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. We like to free range our chickens but have a dog that likes chicken. Hence the smaller flock. :-(
Looking at adding more Americaunas, Barred Rocks and maybe Buff Orpingtons.
