Well, I'm from north Florida. I've been raising chickens and quail for about a year. I currently have 5 chickens. 1 road island red, 1 silky, and 3 that I'm honestly not sure what they are lol.
I'm currently about to incubate some more, as well as buy about 10 biddies. Mainly because I need some more females. I'm also in the market for a dozen bob white quail.
I enjoy raising animals and living the farm life. I've been gardening since I was just a boy, with my parents. I've been gardening on my own since I was 13. I've always wanted chickens and other farm animals, but didn't get financially able to raise them until last year. Pretty soon I plan on starting to sell my excess eggs and try and make the feed pay for itself.
I heard about this website from a friend, who has a huge flock of chickens and many other animals. She said it was an excellent source of knowledge and ideas. So, here I am
