i decided a while back I would take a break from BYC, but I’m back. I took this break because I was on BYC more than actually caring for my chickens. My chickens are doing fine, and we got new chicks, I’m not a chicken farmer, more like a stay-at-home egg producer. The chicks are gorgeous. We have one that’s black, with a green glimpse to it when in the sun, which has “leg warmers” (furry feet) and we got one that looks somewhat like a roadrunner that has a little Mohawk going on with feathers on her head. Happily, none of my chickens have died, and they are all very healthy, besides the old one we adopted from a farm, she died of Marrik’s disease.
