Hi everyone, I am from Seattle and I have not really gotten into birds but I love animals and am a zoologist/research biologist. I actually do arachnids and cetaceans, particularly tarantulas, amblypygids (what my avatar is) and recently, ricinulei for the former, and orca whales fro the latter. Thus, birds are pretty new to me. I have always wanted to keep birds but living where I do makes it difficult. I am going to try and start with mallards since where I live can accommodate them. This seems like a nice little community, so I hope to have a great time with you all!
