Hi. I'm new to the board and new to chickens! Just put in an order for 10 RIR and 5 "easter Eggers" chicks to be delivered April 15th, so now that I'm committed, I need to get my butt in gear and get supplies. I really want to go organic but my local feed store only carries Purina. I live near Faribault. Can anyone help with where near me to get organic chicken feed?

I can't think of any organic feed stores around where you live. But you can order a big or small bag or natural organic feed on my pet chicken.com. And they have a wide selection of organic natural feeds that will ship to your area quickly. Here's the link to mypetchicken.com .... http://www.mypetchicken.com/catalog/Organic-Feed-c58.aspx

You'll just have to search feed stores in an ever increasing radius around you and keep calling till you find someone that carries it or is willing to purchase some for you.
    Shipping feed is expensive.
