I just got 3 chickens from my brother! I'm psyched because I've been wanting them for a while!


This is Fred, Ethel and Lucy!!

I THINK the black one is a Rooster... Not sure what kind. The other two... Are they Rhode Island Reds? Red Stars?...

The buff twins look like Buff Brahmas and the brownish one looks like an Partridge Rock (maybe) and looks like a cockerel.

The two brown ones are Buff Brahmas, I think the one on the right may be a Roo? Not sure about the black one, was thinking maybe Australorp, but the black doesn't seem solid enough.

Black australorp wouldn't have any other color at all.

This could be a brown leghorn cockerel, but hard to tell as you can't see the earlobes in the picture...

You can't really tell in the picture, but the blackish one is much smaller than the other two! I'll try to get a picture of each of them!
Also, I'm still working on their coop! lol This isn't permanent!

No worries, I use a rabbit hutch as a transition cage for all of mine. The ones in there now are so at home I'm afraid they won't like their real home!
