My question is, I sell fresh eggs to my neighbors, and I'm about to give my chickens Ivermectin. I was wondering when is a safe time to sell my eggs after they've had it?

Can you wait until they molt so you don't have to toss the eggs?

I'm sorry but I have no idea when their eggs would be safe again.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

What are you treating with Ivermectin? This drug has faded over the years on internal worms and does not work well anymore. You might want to go with Fendendazole or Wazine if you are worming them. However Ivermectin does still work on external mites and bugs.

Most wormers have a 2 week egg and meat withdrawal.

Welcome to BYC! [IMG]We're glad to have you.Unfortunately, I don't know what the withdrawal period is for Ivermection. But, I agree with TwoCrows- most dewormers have a 10 day - 2 weeks withdrawal period.

I would wait at least 10 days after worming your flock to eat the eggs.
