Hi my names Andi and I'm new I just got 6 baby chicks on Friday and two are black, two are brown, and two are blond. But I don't know how old they are ! There fuzzy and about the size of a lightbulb and chirp alot. One keeps getting pecked and sat and stepped on by the others!!! Does it mean something??? Thanks

No, it doesn't mean anything, unless its not getting food and water. There will always be the top chick, and the bottom chick. Normal.

Hello and

If they're still fuzzy, it means they're probably pretty young. Even at two weeks old, our chicks had started to grow some feathers. The pecking and stepping on is pretty normal. There's a hierarchy in every flock, and that one is probably lower down on the ladder.
