[IMG][IMG][IMG]Hello! I live in Dorset, UK. I bought my 6 girls (?) 5 weeks ago. Could do with some ideas as to pullets or not!

Two bearded whites (Winnie and Wincey), two lavenders (Lily and Lulu) and two partridges (Poppy and Pansy). Pretty sure Poppy is a young lady but not so sure about Pansy!! She is so different to the others - assistance please! [IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Greetings, grimalkin182, and :welcome! Great to have you aboard! Love your username. I have a couple grouchy old grimalkins stalking my farm. Figured they earned their keep after all these years. For gender ID you might want to post your pics here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this There are some experts that pateol that forum and should be able to help you out. And if you like to chat with other locals, here's a link you might enjoy: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/2199/anyone-in-england
Best wishes and thanks for joining BYC!

    Thank you! Will do!

My last cat was called Grimalkin. She passed away 10 years ago at the grand age of 18. [IMG]

We have two British Shorthairs now, Saffi and Muffin. Great breed, love them very much.

I'm getting far too attached to my Silkies though! Spending loads of time in the garden just watching them! Can't leave them to free range on their own as we have foxes about [IMG]

Some of the best peeps I've ever met are here on BYC, hope you enjoy it here too! I've never raised silkies so not much help with the gender id (I have, however, read they are notoriously hard to sex, you may have to wait until you either get an egg or hear a crowing, lol).

    Thanks for joining us!
