Hey yall! I have been A chicken farmer for 1.5 yrs now. I absolutely love it! I have 8 ladies. 3 red pullets,2 black australopes,1 dominecker, and 2 rhode island reds. I am new to this and love learning new things. I have one chicken with what looks like a tumor on her belly which brought me to this amazing site. I'm anxious to learn from yall. Thanks so much,

I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds), and they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of them), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs.
