I am another new person here. I live in California and LOVE my chickens. I have always lived in rural areas and have been able to have my roo's and ladies. The little hen who I have used as my avatar pic was 14 yrs old when I snapped this shot and she's 16 now. She sleeps in the house at night because she is old! I have tons of pictures of my Silkies , Old English and D'uncles and will be happy (as all chicken people are) to show them off!
