We just got our first few ladies last weekend and are excited to be joining the backyard chickens community!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yep! We just got chickens last weekend (march 5, 2011)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Four lovely ladies
(3) What breeds do you have?
An Ameraucana, Welsummer, Black Sexlink, a "barnyard special"

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Playing music, trapeze, veggie gardening
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife and I have 2 indoor kitties that love to watch the new girls. I make film special fx and design video games. My wife is in the emergency medical field.
