Hello and welcome to BYC [IMG] Well, you are not a complete newbie to the chicken world, but have a look at the Learning Center to refresh your memory [IMG] Take gf with to the feedstore. She might end up buying 12 chicks! LOL enjoy the site!

I also was given 22% protien starter is this ok to give them when i get them this week....its only a 25 lb bag so it should only last a couple of weeks?...I asked the feed store lady for layer crumble ...got home looked at the bag and it was blue seal STARTER.... lol...leave it to my luck..it does have calcium in it....
