I've had chickens for a little less than two years, with a total of seven chickens; five are Barred Rock hens and 2 are an unknown breed (given to me by neighborhood kids, who got them from their school as chicks).

I've been to BYC for advice before, but have finally decided to join.

I am also into entomology, crafting, kayaking and all things nature.

I also have three dogs, one cat, several reptiles and amphibians and various species of insects.

Glad to be part of the community!
