I started out here in Idaho 8 years ago, never having lived in the country before. I spent the first few years being completely hands off. I knew there was 3 acres of land here on the banks of the Snake River in Idaho, but I didn’t venture into it. I knew there was a creek down one side and a boat ramp down to the cleared land where the boats are launched. There’s a wooden boat dock down there, which I’d only been on a couple of times. There’s out buildings that I never went into and had no idea what was in them. There was all kinds of metal objects and other stuff here and there.
Now...I spend my days taking care of chickens and using the skills I've learned to make this place my home and my business. I buy/sell/hatch chickens and quail and garden using the Garden of Eden method as well as manage a new blog.

Welcome to BYC! So glad you joined our flock! There are lots of wonderful chicken enthusiasts on here with great knowledge and information just waiting to help you out!
Enjoy!
