HI everyone! We live on a farm in Eastern Idaho. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and have lots of acerage for our Peacocks, Turkeys, Pheasants, (we will be gettting soon) Hungarian Partridges, and our newest little ones 23 (and counting) baby chicks!
We had a bunch of chickens last summer, but we sold them and thought we would not get more. But with the economy being as it is, we invested in more eggs to raise for food and I love them! (dont tell my hubby!)
I am a stay at home mom now because I was laid off from work. porobobly the best thing to happen to me! I have lots of time for mychildren and my feathered children.
We are incubating lots of turkey eggs right now and have about 20 chicken eggs that have not hatched yet! So far all our chickens have survived!
I cant wait to get to know all of you and sharing stories!
    THanks!

Welcome from Calfornia! Enjoy your chicks and your time! There's too much thyme in my garden right now, but never enough time. [IMG]

Welcome. Idaho is a really nice state. I'm jealous. My husband got laid off not me and he isn't madly in love with my birds LOL
